On 1 October 1853 was inaugurated, with Attila by Giuseppe Verdi, the theater “Gabriello Chiabrera” of Savona, which takes its name from Savona poet, who lived between 1552 and 1638.
The reported relief in the tympanum portrays the poet in the act of presenting the “Amedeide” poem to the Duke Charles Emmanuel I, who was his patron.
For reservations and information on the ticket 2016/2017 season will be open from October 17 from Monday to Saturday (excluding holidays) from 10 to 12 and from 16 to 18.30 and one hour before the shows.
